    Description

    British Pattern 1907 Bayonet measuring 22" overall with a 17".  Good condition showing wear, use, scratches, some feathering/sharpening marks up front by point on the right side.  Wood shows some dings/scratches, excellent working press-stud, ricasso markings Crown over GR over 12-16 (Dec. 1916) over Wilkinson, the opposite showing cartouches.  Good looking leather and steel scabbard. with the locket and chape having been olive green paint, back of the leather is marked with cartouches. "W"  H.G.R. 1/16" along with crown, forward arrow and addl markings, see photos.   Locket is with no looseness.
